Gamut Launcher

Gamut is a free, open-source playtime tracker for PC gamers who want accurate numbers instead of Steam's "time since launch" guesswork. You manually press Play/Pause, so the clock only runs while you're actually playing — no more a 19-hour campaign showing up as 50 hours because you left the launcher open. Beyond raw playtime, Gamut lets you rate and tag games by genre, jot notes, mark completions, and even split a single game's time into sub-categories (like a 100%-completion run vs. a casual replay). It's fully local — no account, no telemetry, nothing leaves your PC except an optional update check — with 10 languages, 5 color themes, and a lightweight system tray presence. Windows only for now, GPL-3.0 licensed, and always free.
SteamgridDB API key isn't required but gives a much larger cover art.
